CCPB is a compliance assessment body, active for more than 30 years in the agrifood supply chain: from farms to large-scale retail trade, but also in the world of catering, cosmetics, detergents and textiles, and operates worldwide.
CCPB was founded in 1989 with the aim of enhancing the organic productions of the main Italian agricultural and food companies and over the years expanded its activities on the other organic standards that Italian companies must comply with in order to export to the world (e.g. JAS, NOP) on integrated agriculture (e.g. UNI 11233, SQNPI) and controlled supply chains (e.g. ISO 22005).
Subsequently, with the merger by incorporation of IMC, CCPB expands its activities abroad (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon and Turkey) and develops other conformity assessment services in the area of regulated certification (PDO, IGP, STG, Wines DO) and in the voluntary product area (e.g. GLOBALGAP), but also in the non-food world, especially cosmetics (NATRUE) and textiles (GOTS and TE). Alongside, CCPB developed other compliance assessment services on product and process sustainability, proposing product environmental performance assessment schemes.
CCPB is also accredited as an inspection body, validation and verification body for the EPD standard and certification body for food safety systems (ISO 22000).
Belonging to the TUV NORD group since 2019, CCPB is also able to offer its clients conformity assessment services in food safety certifications (BRCGS, IFS and FSSC 22000) and management systems: quality, environmental, occupational safety, energy and social responsibility.
