Equalitas announces that audits against the SOPD Equalitas standard have resumed on June the 15th.
Equalitas asked the certification bodies resuming their activities to adopt the safety procedures linked to their own and to the companies’ COVID-19 protocols. Equalitas also requested the CBs to sensitize their auditors about the need to collect information, where the production phase is applicable, about the alleged shortage of manpower for the vineyard operations. The alarms disseminated by Coldiretti and other trade associations would not be addressed to the specific of the wine supply chain, however such alerts cannot be ignored and it is therefore necessary to take into account this new criticality in the assessment of the ethical-social requirements.
